Marcell Alexander is from Charlotte, North Carolina. I have a combined 4 years of service in the hair industry. I graduated from Empire Beauty School, located in Greensboro, North Carolina. I was inspired in this industry because I am considered a generational stylist. I have family members that have worked in the industry for years. I was not always interested in doing hair but found myself always having my hands in it. When I knew this was what I would be doing was almost 4 years ago. I had a friend that contacted me in the middle of the night with a very drastic “hair emergency”. I rushed to fix the problem at 3am, that’s when I knew that I would go to no ends to make sure that the hair I did had purpose and meaning. My path of life was set from that day forward. I am very empathetic to help others discover the beauty of what their hair can transform to, rather it is natural or relaxed I can do it all. I have trained in multiple avenues to become a specialist in natural hair, hair cutting, and blow outs. I am excited to where I will be in the future!
Lexiee Robinson aka Lex was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. It was in 2012 that she moved to North Carolina. It was here that she finished high school and attempted to try college. Barely making it through school doing hair on the side as a hustle. Lex was speaking with her aunt one day and she ask her to consider going to school for Cosmetology. Lex hesitated at first because she never considered herself a hair stylist. Besides she never wanted to be a cosmetologist; she wanted to be a Baker…lol!
That summer after completing her first year of college Lex enrolled into Empire Beauty School. It was there that she earned her cosmetology license at 7 months pregnant with her first child and 4 months past my expected graduation date. Lex wanted to give up multiple times, but she had someone else to consider, her unborn son. So, she remained focused a pushed herself to finish. While placed on bed rest she learned more about business and economics. she then researched the meaning of being successful verses being wealthy. Lex knew it was time for a change for the better for herself and my son. She was laid-off my job after several years and made a decision that has ultimately changed her life for the better.
Lex is currently employed with Millenniums Brands where she specialize in “Natural Hair Care, Weave Extensions, Braids, and Wig Customization. Working for the Millennium Brands has molded her into being a better stylist and future business owner.

Charielle Couch is an enthusiastic individual that has a passion for nails. A current student at Winston-Salem, she grew up in the salon watching people transform clients in hair and nails and could feel the joy of how they felt and wanted to be a part of that emotional experience. I choice the side of a nail technician, I started practicing right away on friends to get my skills up to start a career in the field. Now that I work in a salon the time I spent learning and practicing my craft was all well worth it. The love that I feel from turning nails into a work of art is so satisfying. Being influenced in life by her mother and grandmother she can always hear the words of wisdom as she works, “Making one client at a time happy is bigger than the amount of money you can charge”. The time spent with them to create and make everyone special, I would not change for anything. She is so excited to grow further and maybe have her own one day.
